Required Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active Pennsylvania medical license
• Board Certified or Board Eligible – American Board of Orthopedic Surgery
• Completion of an ACGME- or AOA-accredited Orthopedic Surgery residency
• Minimum 1 year of orthopedic surgery experience; at least 100 general orthopedic procedures in the past 12 months OR completion of an accredited residency/fellowship within the past 12 months
• Experience in orthopedic trauma, emergency orthopedic care, and operative call coverage preferred

Core Responsibilities

• Provide orthopedic call coverage and timely consults during the assignment period
• Manage orthopedic trauma patients in a Level 1 trauma setting, collaborating with emergency medicine and trauma teams
• Perform a broad range of orthopedic procedures including arthroscopy, total joint replacement (hip, knee), joint revision/repair (shoulder, hip, knee), tendon release/repair, and peripheral nerve surgery
• Preferred procedural skills: hand surgery, spinal instrumentation (cervical, thoracic, lumbar), and percutaneous disc procedures
• Ensure high-quality patient care consistent with requested privileges and hospital standards
