Travel PACU Registered Nurse (RN) – 13-Week Contract in Clarkston, Washington
Seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse for a travel nursing contract in Clarkston, WA. Join a dynamic perioperative nursing team and provide high-quality care across preoperative, postoperative, PACU, Phase II recovery, endoscopy, and infusion settings.
This on-site travel RN opportunity is located near the scenic Snake River in southeastern Washington. Clarkston offers a welcoming community with abundant opportunities for outdoor recreation and exploration.
Travel Nursing Job Details

- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks, ending February 8, 2027
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts with a variable schedule and shared on-call rotation
- Hours: Approximately 40 hours per week

PACU Registered Nurse Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least two years of recent SSSU, PACU, preoperative, or postoperative nursing experience
- Strong clinical skills in preoperative care, postoperative care, PACU nursing, and Phase II recovery
- Experience with endoscopy and infusion services preferred
- Ability to participate in a shared on-call rotation
- Strong patient assessment, communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills
- Ability to float throughout outpatient services and support hospital needs for conscious sedation procedures
Travel PACU RN Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care before, during, and after procedures across the perioperative continuum.
- Monitor patients in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit and Phase II recovery areas, identifying and responding to post-anesthesia and postoperative complications.
- Complete focused nursing assessments and provide appropriate interventions based on each patient’s condition.
- Deliver perioperative education to patients and families, including procedure preparation and recovery instructions.
- Support patient care in the day surgery, endoscopy laboratory, preoperative clinic, infusion, and other outpatient service areas.
- Assist with nursing care for patients undergoing conscious sedation for special procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team to promote safe, efficient, high-quality patient outcomes.
- Participate in the shared on-call rotation and respond appropriately to unit and hospital needs.
