Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 1 year of recent PCU, step-down, telemetry, or acute care nursing experience
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, high-acuity environment
- Comfortable caring for patients with complex medical and surgical needs
Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to PCU patients
- Monitor patient status, interpret changes in condition, and escalate concerns appropriately
- Administer medications and treatments according to nursing standards and physician orders
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to support positive patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively during handoff and care transitions
- Support patients and families with education, reassurance, and ongoing nursing guidance
