- Schedule: Nights with a patient ratio typically ranging from 1:4-5 on days and 1:5 on nights, subject to staffing needs

RN Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse license in the state of assignment or compact eligibility
- At least 1 year of RN experience required
- 2 years of Stepdown / SDU / IMCU experience required
- Travel nursing experience required
- Ventilator experience on an intermediate care level required
- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certification required
- Dysrhythmia exam required
- Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment
Progressive Care Unit Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care for adult and geriatric patients in a PCU / Stepdown environment
- Perform ongoing assessments, develop care plans, implement interventions, and evaluate patient outcomes
- Administer medications safely and monitor patients receiving cardiac and respiratory therapies
- Care for patients on drips such as Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Heparin, Lasix, and Bumex
- Manage patients requiring BiPAP, CPAP, high-flow oxygen, and ventilatory support
- Care for mixed-acuity patients with cardiac, neuro, renal, gastrointestinal, and respiratory conditions
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, charge nurse, and support staff to promote safe, high-quality patient care
- Monitor hemodynamic status, respond to changes in condition, and provide timely interventions
- Support patient and family education, advocacy, and discharge planning as needed
