• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)

• Estimated Weekly Salary: $1800 - $1890 per week

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Active, unrestricted RN license (compact license accepted where applicable)
• Minimum 1 year of recent PCU, step-down, or acute care experience (PCU RN, progressive care experience)
• BLS required; ACLS preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, telemetry monitoring, and critical thinking skills
• Experience with medication administration, IV management, and common PCU procedures
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient education abilities

Responsibilities (PCU Registered Nurse)

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to progressive care and step-down patients
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status, telemetry, and responses to treatment
• Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, and support staff to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Administer medications, manage IVs/central lines, and perform necessary procedures per unit protocols
• Educate patients and families on care plans, transitions of care, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, compliant clinical environment following hospital and regulatory standards
