• Location: St. Louis Park, MN 55426 (Twin Cities healthcare hub, close to Minneapolis attractions)
• Assignment Type: Travel RN / Travel Nurse
• Unit: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Telemetry
• Start Date: May 2, 2026
• End Date: June 27, 2026
• Duration: 8 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (0700–1900 and 1900–0700; day/night rotation)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040 – $2,150

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years recent experience in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or step-down unit
• Some ICU / critical care experience required (ICU exposure or recent float experience)
• Active Minnesota RN license
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Willingness to float to ICU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry units as needed
• Availability to work weekends and holidays as required

Responsibilities

• Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care to progressive care and telemetry patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions using telemetry and critical care assessment skills; respond promptly to changes
• Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Float to ICU, Medical-Surgical, and Telemetry units to support staffing and patient care needs
• Accurately document patient care in the electronic medical record (EMR) and complete timely charting
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care and clear communication with patients and families
• Follow hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements for progressive and critical care
