Travel Nurse Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770
- Setting: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown Unit (telemetry experience helpful)
- Shifts: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week (night shift travel nurse)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week

PCU Registered Nurse Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent PCU, Stepdown, or progressive care RN experience
- Active RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Must be willing to work night shifts (12-hour nights)
- No local applicants within 100 miles of Morgantown, WV. However, candidates residing at least 50 miles away may be considered.
PCU / Stepdown Nurse Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) / Stepdown setting
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, recognizing and responding promptly to changes
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions as prescribed
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Provide patient and family education on care plans and recovery processes
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the medical record
