Job Details / Travel Nursing Job

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,660 – $1,750
• Location: Manchester, NH 03103 (New Hampshire travel nursing)
• Setting: Inpatient Geriatric Psychiatric Unit (Geropsyche) – geriatric behavioral health
• Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 05/04/2026 – End: 08/03/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), 36 hours per week
• Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
• Float Requirement: May float to adult behavioral health or assist as needed
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Charting System: Epic (electronic health record experience preferred)
• Scrubs: Any

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 1 year recent inpatient Geriatric Psych and Med-Surg experience required
• Travel RN experience required — not accepting first-time travelers
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Hampshire
• BLS (AHA or Red Cross) and CPI certifications required
• Experience with Foley catheter insertion/management, wound care, IV fluids, and lift equipment
• Proficiency with Epic charting system
• Comfortable providing hands-on care for patients with mobility deficits and incontinence
• References required
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions accepted)
• Must not have been a former employee at any Solution Health facility

Responsibilities – Psychiatric RN / Geriatric Behavioral Health

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based nursing care to geriatric patients with psychiatric and cognitive disorders
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses such as psychosis, dementia, bipolar disorder, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders
• Perform safety checks, medication administration, wound care, catheter care, and assist with activities of daily living
• Utilize lift equipment and provide mobility support as needed
• Document all care and interventions accurately in Epic (EHR charting)
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
• Participate in 15-minute safety checks and 1:1 patient monitoring as appropriate
• Float to adult behavioral health or provide "helping hands" support as needed
