Job Description

Physical Therapist (PT) – CCRC
Columbus, NC (Near Asheville & Hendersonville)

Are you a Physical Therapist looking for a role where you can truly connect with your patients, grow professionally, and enjoy a high quality of life? Join a well-known, mission-driven non-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) known for its warm culture, collaborative team, and patient-centered approach.

Schedule
  • Monday–Friday, 40 hours/week
  • Flexible shifts: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
  • No on-call requirements

Practice Setting

This is a resort-style CCRC campus offering a full continuum of care:

  • Independent Living (majority of caseload – ~85% outpatient)
  • Assisted Living
  • Skilled Nursing

You’ll primarily treat active, engaged residents in a beautifully equipped outpatient setting—helping with:

  • Deconditioning
  • Fall recovery
  • Post-surgical rehab (joint replacements, etc.)

Why This Role Stands Out
  • Salaried model – no worries about cancellations or productivity dips
  • Low productivity expectations (65–75%) – focus on quality over quotas
  • In-house therapy team – collaborate closely across disciplines
  • Follow patients across the continuum of care
  • No mandated group therapy – individualized, patient-first care

Professional Growth & Development
  • On-site specialty training (CEUs included): vestibular rehab, chronic pain, pelvic health & more
  • Opportunities to contribute ideas and shape programming
  • Strong leadership support and a highly collaborative rehab team

Benefits & Perks
  • 23 PTO days + 7 paid holidays
  • 401(k) with 4% match
  • Tuition reimbursement & scholarship programs
  • Loan forgiveness eligibility (non-profit)
  • Annual raises (~3–4%)
  • Wellness initiatives, appreciation events & employee discounts
  • Affordable on-site dining with executive chef

Requirements
  • Degree in Physical Therapy (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or DPT)
  • Active (or eligible) NC PT license
  • SNF and/or outpatient experience preferred
  • New grads welcome (especially for contract or mentorship-focused roles)
  • Positive, team-oriented mindset—culture fit is key

If you're seeking a role that blends clinical excellence, work-life balance, and a strong sense of community, this is a rare opportunity to step into something special.
