Job Requirements
- At least 1 year of recent Registered Nurse experience required
- Recent Med/Surg Telemetry or medical-surgical nursing experience strongly preferred
- Active RN license in the practicing state
- Ability to monitor, assess, and document patient status accurately
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical decision-making skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospital nursing environment
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients in a Med/Surg Telemetry setting
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and document care accurately and thoroughly
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to support optimal patient outcomes
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions
- Maintain a safe, compassionate, and professional care environment throughout each shift
