Occupational Therapist (OT) – Inpatient Rehab travel assignment in Boston, MA. 24-week part-time role (24 hrs/week) providing patient-centered acute care therapy in a busy hospital setting.

  • Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,730 – $1,860

Job Requirements

  • Active Massachusetts Occupational Therapist (OT) licensure
  • At least 1 year of experience in an acute care hospital environment (2+ years preferred)
  • Current CPR certification (AHA BLS healthcare provider)
  • Hospital-based patient care experience; ICU experience is a plus
  • Experience with diverse patient populations preferred
  • EPIC documentation experience is a plus (electronic medical records experience preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Provide occupational therapy services to patients from pediatric to geriatric with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses
  • Manage a caseload of 8–15 patients per shift with productivity expectations (~5.2 billable hours in an 8-hour day)
  • Demonstrate excellent patient handling, transfer techniques, and safe mobility training
  • Collaborate closely with nursing, physicians, case management, and multidisciplinary rehab team members
  • Maintain strong time management, clinical documentation, flexibility, and ability to multitask in a fast-paced acute care setting
  • Adhere to departmental dress code: dark gray scrubs as part of the Rehab team
