Job Description

Respiratory Therapist (RRT) – Office/Field-Visit
Finally—A Respiratory Role That Fits Your Life and Your License

If you’re a Respiratory Therapist who loves patient care but is ready to step away from nights, rotating shifts, and constant alarms, this role was built for you!

We’re hiring a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to deliver in-home respiratory care to patients using ventilators, oxygen therapy, and advanced respiratory equipment across Montgomery County, PA and surrounding areas. This is a weekday-only, relationship-driven role where you can slow down, educate patients properly, and see the real impact of your work.

Why RTs Are Drawn to This Role:

  • Predictable schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours/wk
  • No facility-based chaos or patient ratios
  • 1:1 patient care in the home
  • Strong hourly pay + sign-on bonus
  • Mileage reimbursement for home visits
  • Autonomy with clinical support
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hrs/wk

What You’ll Do:
  • Conduct in-home respiratory assessments
  • Educate patients and caregivers on ventilators, oxygen, and respiratory equipment
  • Adjust ventilator settings per physician orders
  • Troubleshoot and monitor advanced respiratory devices
  • Provide follow-up care and ongoing phone-based clinical support
  • Accurately document services and patient interactions
  • Support training and onboarding of new clinical staff
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for urgent patient needs

Who This Role Is Ideal For
  • An RRT with active state license
  • Experienced or interested in home-based respiratory care
  • Comfortable working independently and managing your day
  • Patient-focused, educational, and relationship-driven
  • Ready for a role with better balance and long-term sustainability

Preferred (Not Required):
  • 1+ year of respiratory therapy experience
  • Home health or DME experience

What Makes This Organization Different? This is a nationally established healthcare organization that invests heavily in clinician training, equipment, and long-term career growth. The culture prioritizes patient dignity, clinician autonomy, and sustainable workloads not volume for volume’s sake.

Your work helps patients remain independent, comfortable, and safe in their homes and you’re given the time and support to do it right!
