Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
- Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (hospital RN / medical-surgical experience preferred)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varied shifts (days, nights, weekends)
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) such as Epic or Cerner is a plus
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting as an Acute Care RN
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for assigned patients
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, medication administration, and nursing assessments
- Educate and support patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge planning, and follow-up care
- Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols
