Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
  • Minimum 1 year of acute care nursing experience (hospital RN / medical-surgical experience preferred)
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including varied shifts (days, nights, weekends)
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) such as Epic or Cerner is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting as an Acute Care RN
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing interventions for assigned patients
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams (physicians, therapists, case managers) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Monitor and document patient progress, vital signs, medication administration, and nursing assessments
  • Educate and support patients and families regarding treatment plans, discharge planning, and follow-up care
  • Follow hospital policies, infection control standards, and patient safety protocols
