Minimum Qualifications

• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey (or compact state eligibility)
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg Tele (Med/Surgical Telemetry) experience required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Proven ability to work 12-hour day shifts (3 shifts/week)
• Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical assessment skills

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients on the Med/Surg Tele unit as a bedside Registered Nurse
• Monitor and interpret telemetry data; respond promptly to changes in patient status
• Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed, following hospital and nursing standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, case management) to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, telemetry events, and outcomes in the electronic health record
• Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, and discharge planning to support positive outcomes
