Registered Nurse (Med/Surg Telemetry) – Night Shift in Towson, MD. 9-week contract for an experienced Med/Surg Tele RN with telemetry, stroke (NIHSS/mRS), and EKG proficiency. Join a dynamic healthcare team serving the Towson/Baltimore area.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg Telemetry nursing experience required (Med/Surg Tele RN)
- Minimum 2 years of stroke nursing experience; experience as a stroke nurse preferred
- Current, active RN license in Maryland
- BLS certification (AHA)
- EKG proficiency and telemetry monitoring experience
- mRS and NIHSS certifications (required for stroke assessment)
Primary Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, evidence-based care on a medical-surgical telemetry unit as a Telemetry RN
- Continuously monitor and accurately interpret EKGs and telemetry data
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for stroke patients using NIHSS and mRS tools
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses clearly and efficiently in the medical record
- Deliver patient and family education focused on recovery, secondary prevention, and discharge planning
