Qualifications & Requirements
- Active RN license (must be eligible to practice as a Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) experience
- Experience with both pediatric and adult surgical patients (pediatric OR and adult OR)
- Current PALS certification
- Proven ability to perform scrub and circulating nurse duties
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills in fast-paced surgical settings
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to pediatric and adult patients in the operating room
- Perform scrub nurse and circulating nurse duties during a variety of surgical procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and perioperative teams to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Maintain sterile technique and a safe, organized OR environment
- Participate in pre-op and post-op assessments and effective handoffs
