Required Qualifications — Operating Room RN / Perioperative Nurse
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or a compact state (Registered Nurse)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room RN (OR RN) experience
- BLS certification required (AHA preferred)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced surgical environment and manage multiple surgical cases
- Strong communication, teamwork, and perioperative nursing skills
Responsibilities — Surgical Nurse / Perioperative Care
- Provide perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures as an Operating Room RN (OR RN / perioperative nurse)
- Assist with cases across specialties including Thoracic Surgery, Surgical Pathology, Sub-Acute, Pediatric PACU, and Pediatric OR
- Monitor patient status and ensure safety throughout procedures; maintain sterile technique and infection control standards
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to deliver high-quality surgical care
- Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the electronic medical record
