Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
• At least 1 year of hospital-based respiratory therapist experience; pediatric or neonatal experience preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts for the duration of the travel contract
• Strong clinical skills in respiratory assessment and therapies; ventilator management experience preferred
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and documentation skills
• Must meet Pennsylvania licensure requirements for respiratory therapists (ability to obtain state license if required)
• BLS/CPR certification preferred (AHA)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct respiratory care and treatments to pediatric patients in the hospital setting
• Perform respiratory assessments, develop and implement care plans, and adjust interventions based on patient response
• Manage ventilators and advanced respiratory equipment, monitor ventilator settings, and troubleshoot as needed
• Administer aerosolized medications, oxygen therapy, and other respiratory interventions
• Monitor patient progress, document treatments accurately, and communicate changes to the care team
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated pediatric respiratory care
