Regional Director of Nursing – Home Health (Multi-State)
Hybrid Position
We’re partnering with a tech-enabled, high-growth home care organization focused on expanding access and improving outcomes for medically complex patients and family caregivers. This team blends clinical excellence + operational execution, using data, dashboards, and cross-functional partnerships (Ops, Compliance, HR, Product/IT) to scale care delivery while maintaining constant survey readiness.
The opportunity
This is a high-impact senior leadership role for a nursing executive who can bridge clinical performance with business growth. You’ll serve as the regional Director of Nursing/Administrator for Tennessee and provide oversight and coaching for local DONs/Administrators across TN, IL, GA, NC, and SC.
You’ll own regional clinical governance, quality outcomes, workforce strategy, and multi-state compliance—helping build a scalable, standardized care model across markets.
Responsibilities:
- Lead regional clinical governance and executive reporting (quality metrics, KPIs, dashboards)
- Translate enterprise clinical strategy into standardized operating practices across multiple states
- Partner with senior operations leaders to align clinical quality with growth targets
- Drive capacity planning, DON/Administrator development, retention, and culture
- Lead QAPI/quality initiatives, escalations, and root-cause corrective action plans
- Ensure continuous readiness for CMS CoPs, accreditation standards, and state regs
- Collaborate with Product/IT to streamline documentation and standardize workflows across markets
Requirements:
- BSN required (MSN, MHA, or MBA strongly preferred)
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Compact/multi-state license eligibility required (must be able to practice in TN; willing to obtain other state licenses as needed)
- 5+ years home healthcare experience
- 5+ years clinical leadership in home health / multi-site clinical operations (e.g., Regional DON, VP Clinical Ops, senior agency administrator)
- Strong executive presence; comfortable with data-driven accountability
- Interested in growth trajectory (someone who wants to be a VP-level leader long term)
Work model
- Hybrid role anchored in Nashville, TN (with multi-state responsibility)
- Must be comfortable working 100% in CST/EST time zones
- ~30% travel
