- Unit: Telemetry (Tele RN Peace 5)
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00), 3 shifts per week — Night shift telemetry RN
- Hours per Week: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,740 – $1,840 (Competitive pay for Travel RN)
- Weekend Requirement: 6 shifts per 6 weeks
- Floating: May float between units and sister facilities
- Free Parking: Available in unrestricted employee/visitor lots
Job Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required — Compact RN license accepted (must be in hand at submission)
- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience (cardiac telemetry, telemetry monitoring)
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
- Experience with Epic charting system required (Epic experience preferred)
- Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4–1:5 on a busy telemetry unit
- Provide 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
- Willingness to float to other units or sister facilities as needed
- Commitment to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
- Professional attire: Solid navy blue scrubs required
Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy telemetry unit
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage telemetry monitoring, and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
- Administer medications, manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration), and provide wound care
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
- Document care, assessments, and interventions accurately in Epic
- Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
- Float to other units or sister facilities as required
