  • Unit: Telemetry (Tele RN Peace 5)
  • Contract Length: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
  • Shift: 12-hour nights (19:00 – 07:00), 3 shifts per week — Night shift telemetry RN
  • Hours per Week: 36
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,740 – $1,840 (Competitive pay for Travel RN)
  • Weekend Requirement: 6 shifts per 6 weeks
  • Floating: May float between units and sister facilities
  • Free Parking: Available in unrestricted employee/visitor lots

Job Requirements

  • Registered Nurse (RN) license required — Compact RN license accepted (must be in hand at submission)
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry RN experience (cardiac telemetry, telemetry monitoring)
  • Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
  • Experience with Epic charting system required (Epic experience preferred)
  • Ability to manage patient ratios of 1:4–1:5 on a busy telemetry unit
  • Provide 2 supervisory references covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
  • Willingness to float to other units or sister facilities as needed
  • Commitment to work 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
  • Professional attire: Solid navy blue scrubs required

Responsibilities

  • Deliver comprehensive nursing care to adult and geriatric patients on a busy telemetry unit
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, manage telemetry monitoring, and promptly respond to changes in patient condition
  • Administer medications, manage cardiac and vasoactive drips (no titration), and provide wound care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including IV, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, pharmacy, and social services
  • Document care, assessments, and interventions accurately in Epic
  • Participate in rapid response and code teams as needed
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies, infection control, and safety standards
  • Float to other units or sister facilities as required
