- Location: Modesto, California
- Start Date: November 10, 2026
- End Date: February 9, 2027
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,310–$2,440
- Schedule: 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week
- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Healthcare Setting: Adult cardiac telemetry and progressive care
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
- Holiday Requirement: Holidays as needed
- Call: Not required
Cardiac Telemetry RN Job Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license
- At least 2 years of recent cardiac telemetry, PCU, step-down, or progressive-care nursing experience
- Current AHA or ARC BLS certification
- Current ACLS certification
- Current NIHSS certification
- Demonstrated experience caring for patients receiving cardiac drips, including amiodarone, heparin, Cardizem, and dopamine
- Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac dysrhythmia management skills
- Ability to provide safe, compassionate nursing care in a fast-paced acute-care environment
Cardiac Telemetry Registered Nurse Responsibilities
- Monitor and care for adult patients requiring continuous cardiac telemetry
- Interpret cardiac rhythms and promptly identify changes in patient condition
- Manage and titrate cardiac infusions according to established protocols
- Provide pre- and post-procedure nursing care for cardiac catheterization, cardiac angiography, CABG, and TAVR patients
- Administer medications, blood products, oxygen therapy, and other ordered treatments
- Perform central-line, peripheral-line, IV, wound, and TR Band care as indicated
- Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to support positive patient outcomes
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record
