• Location: Sioux City, IA (Zip: 51104) — Sioux City healthcare & Iowa nursing job
• Setting: Wound Care Unit (Wound Care Nurse / Wound Care RN role)
• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: 8-hour days, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM), no weekends
• Hours per Week: 40

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with at least 1 year of previous RN experience (required)
• Active Iowa RN license (required)
• Previous completion of at least one travel contract (preferred)
• Valid Driver’s License and current contactable work history/resume
• Skills checklist completed within 1 year of submission
• License verification and copy of required certifications
• One supervisory reference
• Must have a taxable address outside of 50 miles from the facility (travel nurse requirement)

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized wound care assessment, treatment, and education as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Apply clinical wound care skills to manage complex wounds and optimize patient outcomes
• Document patient care accurately using EPIC EMR (experience with EPIC preferred)
• May float within the same discipline across local campuses as needed
• Participate in orientation and ongoing training to maintain clinical competencies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care
